No hay otras oficinas como las de Google.
En el mundo de las oficinas del siglo XXI, Google entró hace tiempo en el olimpo de las más envidiadas. Basta un simple vistazo a las fotos para decir yo quiero eso y yo quiero aquello y mañana le digo a mi jefe que si no pone un columpio en el baño, me despido ipso facto.
De hecho, se puede observar como este estilo se ha ido importando y copiando en otros modelos de otras compañías con mayor y menor éxito.
Estas nuevas oficinas de Google en Boston muestran muy bien los símbolos de esta religión googleliana arquitecturil que vale la pena repasarlos:

In the world of the offices of this century, Google came long time ago in the most envied pantheon . Just one glance at the photos to say I want this and I want that and tomorrow I¨ll tell my boss that if he does not put a swing in the bathroom, I´ll resign immediately.
In fact, you can see how this style has been importing in models of other companies and more or less succesfull attemps.
These new Google offices in Boston are showing the symbols of this arquitectural googlelian religion that it is well worth review them:
RELAJANTE MINIGOLF. Sutil metáfora que saca el golf del despacho del CEO de la empresa para llevarlo al Coffee Corner. La sala de reuniones circular con visillos y el oso no muy grande (comparado con algún otro que ya hemos visto) quedan en segundo plano, si uno puede mejorar el swing delante de los compañeros. Es mucho más fácil que el billar y más barato de montar.
RELAXING MINIGOLF. Subtle metaphor that takes the golf out of the office of CEO to bring it into the Coffee Corner. The circular meeting room with curtains and the not very large bear (compared to any other we’ve seen before) are in the background, if you can improve your swing in front of peers. It is much easier than the pool and cheaper to assemble.
EXÓTICAS SALAS DE REUNIONES. Genial, poder tomarte un café dentro de la propia taza. La verdad es que mola.
EXOTIC MEETING ROOMS. Great, you can have coffee inside your own cup. It´s cool, indeed.
SALA DE DESCANSO DE AEROPUERTO. Esto ya no lo veo tanto, no creo que haya mucha gente que quiera relajarse recordando el stress de un aeropuerto.
AIRPORT REST ROOM. I can´t see this much, I don´t think there are many people who want to relax recalling the stress of an airport.
LITERAS PARA DORMIR. Esto lo he intentado en varios proyectos, en el último incluso lo aprobamos en el proyecto pero cuando llegaron los primeros recortes de la obra, lo primero que cayó fueron las chulas camas en altura para la siesta del personal.
BUNK BEDS FOR SLEEPING. I´ve tried this on several projects, in the last one we have them even signed in the project but when the first budgets cuts came, first thing to fell were the amazing height beds to staff´s nap.
COLUMPIO MEETING ROOM . Sin palabras, si lo vieran mis hijas tendría que poner uno en el salón, sin falta.
SWING MEETING ROOM. No words, if my daughters could see this I have to install one in my living room.
GYM. Sí, lo sé, esto es casi vulgar, seguro que muchos ya tenéis gimnasio en la oficina. Dichosos vosotros, si lo usáis. Si el resto no lo tenéis, seguid pidiendo el columpio.
GYM. Yes, I know, this is almost vulgar, I´m sure that many of you already have gym in the office . Blessed are you, if you do use. For those who do not have it, keep asking for the swing.
